| I always recommend Sally Beauty Supply or another supply store that has actual cosmetologist working there. They have tons of those fake hair samples and you can match your tone weather it has a golden look to it or flat brown look and then choose a lighter version of your current hair color. When going blonde you can use bleach and strip the hair of all color and then do a tint on it, it's a small bottle that will not dye the hair but fix the yellow tone. My sis had white hair for 2 years and that was the process we used when doing her roots, the tint would help match all the old hair with the newly bleached roots without more chemicals. Or pick the color of dye you want and use a 30 or 40 volume developer, the higher the number the lighter you hair will become, warning 40 volume can burn a little on the scalp. |
